I felt proud when I read the opinion of Estonian foreign policy commentator Peeter Kaldre — he knows what it is like to go to Canossa! However, I do not agree that Canossas are multiplying like mushrooms after rain. There cannot be many Canossas by definition. The only Canossa today is Washington.

Forcing people to die for someone else's simulacra cannot be justified in any way.
